| Well, I took THE test on July 6 and never heard anything, so I obviously passed it. I'm 38 years-old, about six feet tall, and weigh about 205, although I was 215 or so when the whole mess began. My pattern for the last couple of years has been to smoke heavily for a couple of weeks and to not use for a month or two. I found out that I had to take a drug test on June 7 for a new job after having smoked heavily for about a month, especially the previous two weeks. What a horrible feeling that was! To combat this highly unfortunate development, I ate 4-6 small meals a day, with low fat and high fiber, and did at least one hour of cardio a day. I also drank a lot of water throughout the whole ordeal. I lost a few lbs. for sure. I passed several home tests along the way and took a private test at a local lab on June 29, which I passed. I took the official test on July 6. I took a creatine supplement for several days leading up to the test and also took a lot of aspirin before the test--both several hours before and about 45 minutes before. Additionally, I stopped exercising a couple of days before the test and ate food high in fat, such as hamburgers. What a great feeling it is to have made it! I found this site very helpful, and I wanted to thank everybody involved. I also wanted to wish everybody all the best in defeating the ridiculous tests that seem to be more and more common. |
