Default cigarettes and ibuprofen

Does cigaretters cause the detox stage to slow down? And does ibuprofen cause a false positive? Thanks....

Fowler - If I were to guess...

and this is a complete guess, I would say this
-

Cigarettes would have a negligible effect on your detox process. Otherwise you'd see "QUIT SMOKING BEFORE THE TEST" all over this forum, and I haven't seen jack about that.

As for ibuprofen - Very common drug - so many people use it.. If it caused false positives this forum, I believe, would also warn you to stay away. Don't use ibuprofen for the test though, I'm assuming you're using it for another reason, but use aspirin instead if this is just for the test. DON’T MIX THEM – I don’t know why not, but it doesn’t sound like a good idea!

Educated guesses... if someone knows this info is bad or good, please give fowler some added peace of mind.

cigarettes have been known to raise metabolic processes in the body, which in turn leads to faster detox times, though the difference is negligable. Avoid any OTC pills such as ibruprofen or the like the day of the test to avoid triggering the test. Aspirin, which is essentially sac. acid, has been known to cause false negatives on the EMIT style tests only.

I assume for "detox" you are referring to THC metabolites, which will leave the body faster the higher your metabolic rate is in the body.

Hope that helps.
