Alright, so here's my dilemma. I've been waiting for a job all summer so in exchange I haven't been smoking in just over 2 and a half months. I find out today that my mom may have finally gotten me a job where they swab drug test, taking a saliva sample. I have tried reading up on these kinds of tests but I haven't gotten much information on how long they trace THC samples. Now, my mom works at this job so I need to pass this test. I've been waiting for it for a long time. If anybody knows exactly how long I should wait til I might be clean, what I should do help clean my system, or if anybody has any further information on saliva/swab drug testing. Please reply ASAP as I might be tested within the short future. Thank you for your time in reading this. -Duff

it is my understanding that mouth swabs are only detectable for 2-3 days after you smoke. Hopefully N2 may have more info for you, but I believe mouth swabs are only detectable for a couple of days after smoking, even for a chronic smoker.

Hm, well if that were the case, that would be grand. Although, I'm not sure why a big corporate company like Kroger would use a drug test that only detects a couple of days if they want clean ass employees working there. Beats me.

Duff, Mel is correct. The best info I can get is a detection window of 1-48 hours. The cutoff range is from 5ng/ml - 50ng/ml. The average detection time is around up to 14 hours after consumption.

Every company is different my friend, and in reality, this company is probably more ethical in its testing because it tests more for active usage of MJ compare to a urine screen which can test for THC after weeks of being clean if you are a chronic smoker. They want to know if you are under the influence in the last couple of days, and are not concerned with smoking, say a week prior to your interview. In reality, more companies should implement this process since it only test your smoking history a couple days prior to the interview. Also, this may be true or may not, but mouth swabs may cost less than a urine screen; remember that companies are definately only concerned with the bottom line, and if the test for mouth swabs are less than a urine screen, and most likely they are, then a company would rather do the mouth swab because.................it will cost them less money. (in reality, money drives most of the drug testing that occurs in corporate america; it is sad, but true)

Wow. That's all I can say. I have been clean for a very long time (but I'm proud of myself too) and this is great news. I will continue to stay clean before my test, but I have to say thanks. ok, heres my ?, I have a Saliva drug test coming up maybe in afew days or possibly next week 09/19/04. Sometime around the dates I just posted. I have been clean for over 60 days, except the fat that I took about 4 hits of some not so potent weed about 4 weeks ago. Does anyone who read thing I will pass?. God I hope so as this is driving me nuts. From other posts that I have read, it sounds like that I will pass as Saliva tests can only detect 3-4 days prior. I workout daily, I did a a Detox program for the last 40 days, and now im taking Sonne's #7. Does anyone think I will pass?

as was covered earlier by N2 and myself, saliva tests are only detectable for a matter of a few days at most after your last indulgence.

Right on thanks, so I'm probably just wasting my money on these products im buying to get clean, but oh well, better safe than sorry. Thanks for the info, I fell much at ease, been clean for 62 days and counting, but I cant wait to light up again..hehehe
