I haven't smoked in a year and took 2-3 hits 2 1/2 weeks ago. I had to take a pre-employment drug screen at Quest and drank a masking agent an hour beforehand as a precautionary measure. It came out "Diluted" today. So - I have to take it again first thing tomorrow. Obviously I am not going to drink that drink again. What is the probability that I will be fine? I am freaking OUT! Thank you in advance. Oh - I am 5'4, 120lbs, high metabolism.

If you haven't smoked before the 2 and 1/2 weeks ago, if was a one time thing...you probably didn't need the drink to begin with. You haven't given any of your stats...height ..weight..metabolism, but if your average, one time use should be well out of your system in a week to 10 days. Sometimes less. You might want to test yourself at home to put yourself at ease. But if it was one time use like a half a month ago....your fine.

I had actually taken Ready Clense a few times back when I had to take pre-emp drug screens and they always worked...never diluted. I wonder why this time the test came out diluted? Also, does this raise a red flag to the employer? I just said that I actually had drank a lot of water beforehand like I always do... Damn...this sucks!!

Thanks Wizard...I will def purchase the at home test. Are those pretty accurate?

no it does not raise a red flag; if you exercise and consume lots of water you can show up with diluted urine; that is why they usually simply ask for a retest. You should pass but mild dilution is still in your favor, and IBID Wizard on the home test; they really help to put your mind at ease.

I went in yesterday to retake the test... I drank a whole bottle of cranberry juice (the unsweeted, horrible tasting kind) the night before and mass water the morning of. Took a Centrum a couple hours before. Took the test and my pee looked pretty clear/light yellow. Anyway - I will know the outcome today. Will post the results.
