Took test today to be sent to Labcorp. Prior to test, I took 2 tests...AtHome and also a single panel. Both had very strong lines in the T and C areas...basically they were identical to the Control lines in depth of color. My question is if they do a GC test, will it pass? I know that the lab checked split specimen on the form and that raised my curiosity. Just want to know if I need worry or not. Also, just read on form from collection site "Drug screen-Labcorp Non-regulated Collect UDS" I smoked everyday (bowl-a-day)for several years, 6'0, fast metabolism, was 15 full days clean prior to Real Test. As I said above, passed AtHome test with 2 distinct lines....ok rambling...but just freakin' worried like the next guy about what they will use..eg 50ng or 20ng? Any responses are appreciated. Also, said OTS-RTP 3000? Thanks

most likely a simple dip style test will be used at 50ng/ml. Only the GC is used to confirm a positive or inconclusive test on the initial screen. If you passed the home test, relax you should be fine.

Thanks Mel for the reassurance. I hope you're right and my mind's playin' tricks on me...lol! Do you know what the OTS-RTP 3000 stands for? I looked it up and think the OTS=Occupational Testing Services. I also found through Google an OTS 3000 oscillating tissue slicer. Could this be what they're using? Thanks again.

looks like a type of electron miscroscopy; but I am unsure what this methodology plays in the role of drug testing; if you can find any other info on it, let me know, I would love to read about it!

Hey Mel, found out that OTS= Occupational Testing Services (as I thought) and RTP=Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. Person on line was unable to verify what the 3000 meant, however. Hope this helps for future inquiries.

I am sure that the test is nothing more than a simple screening, and for THC metabolites, a 50ng/ml cutoff; if however you find anything that contradicts this information, don't hesitate to let me know; for the most part, the 50ng/ml cutoff is standard for these tests for any type of occupational/pre-employment screen. Cheers
