I have a drug test in a week or so for a job, and I was wondering if I smoke too much to even have a prayer of passing. I'm 6'2'', 160 lbs., I have a ridiculously fast metabolism, I've smoke between an eighth to an ounce a day with a few other kids for the last 8-9 months. Smoked an eighth every few days for a year before that, with a couple month break in between those periods. Last time I smoked was last night (8/4, smoked a bowl), and I've smoked only a bowl or 2 a night for the last week, as I knew this was probably coming soon. Also I don't really excercise, other than swimming probably about 800 feet a day to a sandbar at this lake, probably do that 5 times a week, if that even counts as excercise .

Anyway, this job is extremely important for me. So my question is this - Do I smoke too much to even consider dilution? Would it be a waste of my time to even try it? Should I just go straight to substitution? Thanks in advance for responses.

with a week time, you are looking at most likely still failing with dilution, though it IS possible if you dilute heavily; you could do a dry run with dilution and a home test the day before to see if you can get by diluting your own urine.
