As Tom Petty wrote "the waiting is the hardest part." After 99 yrs in bussiness my company was bought out by another that demanded drug testing to keep your job. I did a home test for thc that i passed and was sent down to do a urine test for medtox the next day. I am a once a week toker. Can i feel confident that i will pass this test too? I beleive i found this sight a few days to late, appreciate your responses. thanks in advance.

yes, the home test is a very good indicator of the lab test-- keep in mind that first urine of the day is foten very concentrated, so you coule take a home test in the afternoon and pass, then take another the next morning with the first elimination and fail

Well as expected i was sent down Tues morn(two days ago), and they(Medtox) acted as though they would attempt to contact me first before my employer. Does any one know if this is true? Will I be the first to know? "The waiting , is the hardest part."

usually the employer is the first one that is contacted, and usually the only time the results come back to you is in the case that you fail the screen. If you never hear about the test again, or the results, it usually means you passed with flying colors

Thanks for your replys. I have 19 yrs of seniority that is being honored by the new company, I dred starting all over in todays world, getting kinda comfy with all the current benifits. I will let you know the outcome as soon as i do.

well i guess i made it. One week after my test the boss man said he didnt receive my results yet, but im fiquring he must have them by now, cause he's not sending me down again and its been two weeks. thought i'd share. I do believe the home test are reliable at this point. Where is the cheapest place to purchase them? I'd like to experiment a little to see what i can get away with. thanks, terribud

ebay has cheap urine tests, do a search, usually you can get 10 for around 25 dollars or so
