Today I had a check up with my doctor. I had to take a urine analysis and a blood test. The urine test was I guess to check for infections and my mom said the blood test was a cbc check or something like that. If I have THC metabolites in my system, do you think they can find it from running those test?

A complete blood count (CBC) test checks the blood cells in your body for a particular chemical or protein. The test is really looking for three things, (1) red blood cell (RBC) percentage, (2) white blood cell (WBC) percentage, and (3) platelets. The test is done to see if you have anemia (too few RBCs), a high level of white blood cells (which means you probably have an infection), and to check for certain diseases.

They won't test your for THC at the doctor's office *shrug* Even if they did find something, your doctor really can't do much about it. My doctor knows I smoke cannabis...

Oh, and the "contact high" or "second-hand smoke" thing is a myth. You would have to be in a very small room with no ventillation and an insane amount of smoke for an extended period of time.
