Hello all,

I smoked exactly 2 weeks before I took my test.Before that I hadn't smoked in about 3 months. The last time I smoked (2 weeks before test) I probably took 5 hits total. I am 5'5 and 112 pounds. Do you think there is a chance that I could fail my test? I know a lot of sources say that metabolism is a huge factor....but I was reading somewhere that your hydration level had something to do with it as well. I'm asking because I rarely drink water....and when I do drink anything its usually while I'm eating. So I'm sure that I'm not Thorougly hydrated.... I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

it depends on how hydrated you were when you gave the sample; keep in mind the most concentrated sample is the first one of the day, but after three months clean and two weeks of being clean after a single use, I would find it highly unlikely you fail the screening unless your urine was HIGHLY concentrated (i.e. very yellow or even brownish color is very concentrated) since a single use is usually only detectable for 1-10 days at most

I had started drinking lots of water the night before, which caused me to get up and urinate almost every hour. Then In the morning I had a bottle of water and and about 20 ounces of cranberry juice. I didn't take the test until around 3 p.m. but I was using the restroom a lot right before the test and my urine seemed pretty clear until it was time to take the test. I don't know what is considered really yellow...but when I took the test it was a pretty nice yellow... I'm freaking out right now. The lady said they should get the results on Today. I took it on Thursday. I haven't heard anything as of yet but you never know.

I passed. I went to orientation, and I saw the HR managers Checklist of things, and she has a check by the drug test screening. And no one told me otherwise...Silly me. Sometimes I worry too much.
