Default Advice needed

hey guys whats up? i'm hoping you guys can help me out and give me some much needed advice on this situation: i started started my senior year of HS, and the school announced they would be randomly drug testing students in an effort to keep kids off drugs and give kids a reason to turn drugs down. well, for those of us who DO use marijuana, this becomes a problem. the school will be using students randomly on a weekly basis and testing them, although the percentage of me being chosen is low, the risk still exists. they will be using urinalysis to test. so the advice i need is what precautions should i take in the event i am chosen to take a drug test?

Default just a few questions...

Well, I read your post pretty quickly, and a few questions come to mind. First, are you over 18? If not, I would think the school would need parental consent for this. Is it a public school? I'm assuming not. What has the school communicated as to their policies or prodecures if a student refuses to submit a sample? Any data obtained is considered a medical record - if in the USA, they need to provide you and/or your parents with documentation as to how your confidentiality will be protected (as per HIPAA). I could probably cook up more, but you get my drift. Welcome to Police State 101!

no im not over 18, there was a release form which every parent had to sign in order for their children to be allowed to participate in extracurricular activities and drive to school (only people who are involved in these things are drug tested, but thats about 90% of the school). yes it is a public school. if a student refuses to take a drug test they automatically fail and the parents are contacted, the privelage of driving to school is revoked, and you are forced to do counseling for a month. heres all the information:
