Hey everyone -
First off I just wanna say this is a great community. Now heres my situation. I'm 5'9" 140 lbs. and the last time I smoked was saturday. I smoked about 2-3 times a day. It turns out I have a 2nd interview with Michaels on monday. I just took a home drug test and tested positive, the line was too faint to count. I have pretty much decided to go with the substition method. I peeled off the temp strip on the home drug test and put it on a 4.5 oz travel shampoo bottle I bought the other day. I'm planning on packing it in two (possibly three to be safe) pairs of boxer briefs. Now here lies my concern... Will they test me on the 2nd interview or will tell me to go to a lab to get it done on my own time? Also...one of my friends in the past got a drug test at a lab and she said that they told her to put the cup in a drawer when she was done. Does this mean they didn't check for temperature? That is probably the thing I'm worried about the most, keeping the temperature just right. So anyway, should I take the fake piss to the 2nd interview just in case? Or should I assume that the drug screen will occur at another time, so I can prepare for it? Any help/advice is very much appreciated.

they will probablyl give you a form to go to a lab to give the sample, though it could be the same day as the interview so you may want to have it with you just in case they send you to the lab after the interview, which is pretty common to do in most situations, though some employers will give you a day or two to get the urine screen done, whenever you have time to do it.
