| I applied for a job about a month ago and got hired. I read the application and made sure it didn't say anything about drug testing. I also called to see if there was any kind of employee handbook I could get my hands on, but they said it was being redeveloped. I've smoked about 2 times in the last month... the last time was about a week ago and I start work in a little less than a week. I'm currently drinking lots of cranberry juice, taking a b-vitamin complex and asprin. I'm basically wondering about the likelihood of a test. They haven't said anything about whether or not I'll have to take one, but they haven't said I won't either. I'm 5"8' and weigh about 140lbs and have kind of a slow metabolism. Do you guys think that this is something I should be too concerned with, or am I just freaking myself out? Also, is there anything else (aside from creatine which I will begin taking shortly) that I should be taking in order to help clear my system? |

| they usually have to specify somewhere in the paperwork that you are going to be drug tested; if you start getting paychecks, assume you will not be tested. Eating light and drinking fluids is the best way to prepare for a test; get a home test to make yourself sure you are clean. Chances are they would have told you about a test by now, but unless you start working, there is still a chance they could spring one on you; but they will usually specify the test will occur prior to it happening, usually in some sort of form you have to sign.
