Hello!
I've been interviewing and hoping to get a new job soon.
I don't smoke at all, but my spouse does every day. Is it possible that I can still test positive on a test? He's says that I'm crazy, but I'm nervous.
I plan on getting a home kit when the time comes....just in case.

nothing will happen to you i promise you that all my friends some my friends were smoking while they took me to a drug test they jamaica'd the car and i still ended up passing do you know how much smoke you must inhale to fall

That's exactly what he said. But, he smokes around me everyday.

No, how much do you have to inhale? Won't it build up in my system if I'm around it everyday.

You'll be fine I wouldnt have him smoke around you the night before of the day of the test I've been told of a "nightbird" effect where it can show up for only a day and thats if your around hard core smoking like 20 people smoking in a car all of them smoking joints. Your fine anyway but jsut to be say don't be around any smoke for 24 hours before your test.

Okay, I took a home test this morning and passed with the first one of the morning when I first started (which I've read you shouldn't do). I bought another one to check tomorrow morning.

I have to take it tomorrow and have no idea what kind it will be. I'm using the Aloe Rid just in case and have been drinking plenty of cranberry and Gatorade.

I haven't even so much as smelled any smoke since Sunday night, but I'm still nervous and I don't even smoke!

your fine I wouldn't waste anymore money on home test but if it makes you feel better then right on. I would lay the farm on you passing tomorrow.

to passively inhale enough smoke to test positive above the 50ng/ml cutoff you would essentially need to lock yourself in a closet with multiple people smoking over a period of hours with no ventilation and you breathing heavily; THC metabolites dissipate into the air very quickly once exhaled from the body, and most of the metabolites are absorbed by the smoker anyways, so in reality, very little THC will be left over in the smoke your mate exhales; most of it is carbon dioxide.

While I would not suggest giving your first urine of the day, I would simply urinate in the morning, have a healthy glass of water, and go to the test; you will be fine

Thanks to everyone for their replies. I just got back from taking the drug test (9 pm). So, I'll find out about second-hand smoke. I'm hoping that everything will be okay since I've been taking my home tests with the first pee of the day!

your first is the worst so if you passed it then your in the clear with your second the more the better type of deal
