| I passed the pre-employment test using the substitution method on here (THANKS). It was for an internship and now they are offering me a better paying position. Word is that I will be forced to endure orientation again, but I am not sure if that includes another health assessment i.e. p!ss test again. Anyone have any experience with something like this? If you move around in the system can they keep testing you? Any insight would be great. I know if worse comes to worst I can just sub again, but that stress was awful. Thanks ![]() |

| Well, Libra_420, I've been with the same VERY conservative company for 6 years. I made one lateral move and just received a promotion of several grade-levels. I have't been tested since I hired in 6 years ago. It's very unlikely that the company would re-test you, unless they had some suspicion that you're a ... POT SUCKING FIEND!! Did you read the fine-print on the employement application you signed? My application stated that my company reserves the right to conduct additional screenings anytime they want. But, let's face it, because of the expense involved, they don't bother. Remember, there's more than just the cost of the test, there are all those people and records involved! I really think testing is a lot more "image" than "reality". I mean, really, what is my company genuinely testing when they give me the paperwork and tell me I have to drop by the lab within the next 72 hours? ![]()
