I'm 5-7, 170 pounds, daily smoker, excercise infrequently.

I have to take a urine test within the next 48 hours....it's been about 24 hours since I've smoked. Not hi-test or anything, seedy/schwag.


In a panic, I purchased XXTra Clean but I'm drinking water and preparing to do aspirin/gatorade/vitamin B in the hours before the test -- and I will be observed. Should I take it all and hope for the best? Spend more $ on a home test kit?

Flushing with water today and planning on meat for dinner. What else can I possibly do?

I'd start praying.

I'm not a religious man myself, but an act of god is pretty much all that's going to help you pass this test.

. . . unless you use the substitution method.

Catheter? How does it work? Can I do it? I will if need be.

The condom method sounds too iffy...

That one I'd refer to S2. He's the resident test-beater around here. I don't know if they can tell the difference between male and female urine.

Not to take the contrary postiton to Mel.... He definetly has valuable knowledge.... but I do have an aquaintance who used a pregnent womens urine and it was detected. He was also deemed metapausal, and has osteoperosis. (just kidding...but that was a great Seinfeld episode.) But seriously....I have a friend who used a pregnent woman;s urine and it was detected.... I'm not sure if the pregnent status made the difference, but, I believe on rare occassions it could be an issue.
I believe I also spelled pregnant wrong 4 times in this thread, so, though reasonable articulate....My spelling is etrocious.
Do as I say.....not as I spell...

I'm going to postphone the test as long as possible. Better to violate probation for not getting the test done asap than to have bad pee. Maybe 72 hours or five whole days (go in Monday am) will buy me some lower levels. As a chronic smoker, I just think 24 hours is too risky, even w/ aspirin, tums, powerade, AND xxxtra clean. Overdoing it, huh?

Probably makes sense to buy the $10 home test kit and see where I'm at...and how hard it's gonna be to pass this thing.


Other ideas? Too bad there's no hurricane comin'. Those make their own excuses.

ahhhh, thank you wizard, one thing I left out, pregnant women should not be your donor; as long as the person is healthy and around your same age, gender does not matter.

But any other ailments most likely will not interfere; but again, I would not go getting a sample from a grandparent or someone who is way off in terms of age compared to you.

But hey, then again, Greenbud passed with dog urine, so hey, anything is possible
