| Okay well I was unable to get onto this board yesterday to seek advice. Yesterday morning i used a home test and had a faint line next to the control..so i didnt know if i still needed to dilute and take the aspirin. I ended up having to take the test yesterday with quest instead of monday. So i freak..i started downing water,took 4 aspirin 45 mins prior,nician 500mg,and tums 4 of them and then i took plain multivit,and 1000 of vit c,also i took another tablespoon of sonne 7..well got to the place and when i pee'd my urine was awful clear, almost like water, there were little floaty things in it..what the hell could that be and now what do i tell these people if they come back and tell me my urine was too diluted..why would anyone drink that much water by 10am..what the hell could those floaty things be??the sonne 7??? Now if they retest me are they going to do the same test or do a more indepth test if the urine was diluted?? Was the faint line enough to pass,should i not have diluted? Also can they tell if i took all those pills? I would just die if these people that are hiring me though i was trying to hide something. what all does quest tell them??? will let you all know what they say...can someone please help with my questions?? thanks.. |

| 1) talk to your doctor about any solids in your urine-- that should have nothing to do with anything you sconsume--period-- dotn mess around with that. Hard to say of they will flag you as dilute-- they wouldnt on color alone but lab employees might decide that they will follow protocol and check creatinine and specific gravity on a real celar sample ( they are like any other entry level employee-- they'll blow off doing the job exactly right every time) Test wont show adulterants that you consume--only the ones you put in the sample If you are flagged as dilute--they may not re-test, some employers simply consider a dilute sample as supicious enough that they dont bother with retest-- in any case, if your sample is clean all ther report is non detect, if dirty they send it on to GC?MS analysis and report the quantities of each thing tested, If dilute, they report-- not tested- dilute sample many times on retest, they will go the extra step and use GC/MS but its a menu of options that the employer is buyeing and there is no standard that all follow |
