| Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'll keep my post as short as I can. I took a pre employment test on Tuesday and it was a "SAP 5-50/300 GC/MS". I think this is an EMIT with a cutoff of 50 for THC, with a possible GC/MS confirmation. I had 23 days clean since I last smoked and I was smoking a small bowl a day before that. I'm 110 lbs and I don't get a lot of exercise, but I have a naturally fast metabolism. I drank about 64 oz of water before the test and took vitamin, was peeing about every 20 min. Also passed home test without dilution a few days before. I thought I was safe to pass the EMIT... But I take an allergy medicine that contains pseudoephedrine, which I've now read can cause false positive for amphetamines. QUESTION: If they run the GC/MS because they're looking for amphetamines, will they report a lower level of THC than 50 that they could indirectly find in the process? I haven't been able to eat or sleep much since I really want this job. Thanks! |
