I hope the ops don't mind posting links, but read N2's post on dilution at: http://boards.marihemp.com/boards/msg18x9674.shtml the best way (besides substitution) to pass a piss test is basically just to drink a buttload of water before the test, pop some creatine a couple days earlier and some vitamin B (for color).

What's the deal with Niacin? I've heard from friends that it's the key to quick detox. Are they full of it? What does Niacin do, and does it have any benefits? I heard the only noticable effects it has is turning you red and making you itch. Anyone know anything useful about it?

i have a potential drug test early next week i smoked over a week ago what is the best thing to do to get this out of my system? how long does it stay in system? i have been drinking crnaberry juice all day.

how much did you smoke? when did you last smoke before that? if u only smoked once and only took about 5 or so hits and it was over a week ago then ur prolly fine right now...how much do you weigh? what's your height? blah blah blah.

ditto.......search the threads dude. You are going to get a ton of different opinions on this one, some swear by it, others, such as me, think it does nothing. If you check out norml.org under their drug testing tips, they clearly state to the reader: "contrary to popular rumor, there is NO evidence that goldenseal, vinegar, niacin, or vitamin C help"

So in reality, I think Niacin does nothing, but wait for the posts, there will surely be someone who will swear by it. Keep in mind, too much Niacin can kill you.

Hi all,

I'm preparing for a potential urine drug test and need to see if anyone knows anything about Niacin -- I did a search on the forums and came up with nothing.

A buddy of mine told me about it and said that he personally, along with 2 of his friends who smoke regularly passed drug tests by taking this over the counter Vitamen (vitamen B3). Apparantly the day before the test they drank plenty of water and took Niacin -- tests turned out clean.

Has anyone else used/heard of this? Here is a description of Niacin

I've passed a test before using the subsitute pee method but manthat is just plain shady and difficult as far as temp goes. I went in there the first time and gave the guy pee that was too warm -- Hispanic dude looks at me and says it's too warm; shows me the temp label on the thing that changes colors. The f'ing thing was black yo! But then it cooled in front of us a bit and came down to like upper 90s and he accepted it. BUT THEN, when the idiot was transferring the piss out of what i peed in and into some other container, he accidentally threw the sample into the sink while talking to me. Man that was something else. So i told him i couldnt pee and would have to come back later. I did the whole thing over again with some lady and the pee happened to be the right temp the first time. Again, even though i'm experienced in said method, it just plain blows.

Yo anyway, lemme know about the Niacin and if you have any particular tips on pee temperature.

btw - why the **** is the Urinator $150. That is just plain cruel.

the urinator is that much because it is cashing in on the war on drugs, crappy but true.

Sorry man, niacin does nothing to help pass a drug test, while many have had good results from it, usually it is due to the water they drank, and they claim the niacin passed them when it was really just the diluted urine.

In a continuing effort to kill the niacin myth, let me explain how niacin became intwined with drug testing. If you do a Google for 'L Ron Hubbard and Niacin', that's right, the scientoligest, you'll fine info concerning a study he did in an effort to eliminate minute trace amounts of LSD and thus prevent LSD flashbacks. His study indicated that a long term regieme, several months, of heavy excersize, saunas and niacin would over time remove the trace amounts of toxins. He also concluded that this program also removed minute trace amounts of other toxins, including THC. Thus the myth was born. Take 2 niacin and pass your drug test tomorrow...NOT! Niacin works very s l o w l y. If you have 4 weeks or more to prepair, do hours of excersize every day, and add niacin, it may help a little, but the rumors persist because people take niacin and then drink large amounts of water with the niacin. When they pass their test, they wrongly credit the niacin, when the real hero was the water that diluted their urine to below the test cutoff levels. It's all about the water!!! Hope that helps clear up the niacin myth. N2
