Hi, all. First of I jsut want to express my gratitude for all of the information here - it is immensely helpful.

Anyway, I have a pre-employment screening test sometime next week (it has not been scheduled yet). It's just a seasonal job to hold me over before somethine more serious starts in January, but I'd rather not have to borrow money for rent this month.

I know a couple of people who have successfully beaten tests using Uva Ursi (Bearberry), which appears to be one of the active ingredients in pretty much every overpriced potionhttp://cheaptalk.marijuana.com/420/article.php?a=36. One of them used it to beat a state department test on two days notice. I have scoured the net, and I cannot find any dosage information for doing this, though. I know that you're supposed to take it about an hour and a half or two hours before the test, and it should cover you for about 5 hours after that, but I don't know how much to take, and I'd rather not load myself up on a diuretic any more than necessary, as I had a dehydration-related kidney stone years ago and am a little suspicious of anything that discourages hydration. I bought a bottle of 1365 mg capsules today for $5. If it works as well as I've heard it does, it's a very cheap alternative to paying $35 for a single treatment of something that is mostly Uva Ursi anyway.

Anyhow, my background:

26, male 195 pounds. Decent metabolism, but not particularly atheletic. I'm a regular moderate smoker, a bowl or two of commercial grade 2 to 5 days a week on average for the last few years. On 11/27 I vaporized maybe two bowls worth, and have been abstaining ever since. Prior to that I had been clean for three days. The soonest I could be tested is 12/7.

I am pretty confident that I would be fine with a gallon of water and some pure cranberry juice the night before, coffee, cranberry juice and maybe half a gallon of water the morning of and possibly some asprin and B2, but I would rather decrease the amount of water and use Uva Ursi if I can get more info on proper dosage and dosage schedule. Any help would be appreciated, and I'll let everyone know how it goes.
