Okay, I just made my 1st attempt at scraping some out [w/ a freshly washed paint scraper]. It actually scraped a little too easy because the bottom layer was still a little moist. It formed a layer of what looked like and smelled like moist brown sugar. I stoped there, because I want to let it dry even more before I start make a pile of it (so it doesn't get moldly or retain bacteria).

i know this post is verry old, but i am trying the same thing right now. why buy piss when i have all i could ever want right between my legs? i have been clean for 37 days, and i dont know if i will pass, but i will get a test kit to see if i will. anyway, i got 71 cc of my urine and put it in a wide mouth mason jar and put that on a reptile heating pad. i did it at 1:40 am and the temp is 70 degrees. the local forecast says it is 93% humidity, but i doubt thatis truely what is in my house. anyway, i will post my results, but am interested to hear what happened with your batch.

oh i almost forgot, i have thought of two other ways of doing it.
either use a vacuum pump to evaporate the water quickly or put the piss in a dessicator, with a compound that absorbs lots of moisture. havent tried either, just the one i mentioned in my first post, but those are next on the list.

Does anyone know how long this homemade evaporated urine would stay good?

The vacuum method would probably be the best. Urine deteriorates rapidly at room temperature and would probably do so in the time it would take for the water content to evaporate normally.

If you do not use a vacuum pump, the next best thing would be to evaporate it in a large flat glass pan (like a brownie pan) with a fan blowing over it. More surface area + more air movement = faster evaporation.

well the first method didnt work too well. i have about half the volume and it has been 2 days. so just evaporating without assistance is out. i want to try the vacuum method, but i have to make a good enough vacuum pump. also, it looks like the major compounds of urine can withstand pretty high temperatures (creatinine 255c, uric acid >300c). maybe we could just boil off the water? i'l keep my results posted.

So any updates? Is this an urban legend how in the hell would this work? I am trying it reagardless right now too.. I had 2 32oz gatorade bottles full of good vintage urine. It has been about a month now and the bottles are still about 1/8 full of liquid. I kept them in a closet I never use because it smells like death in there. If this is a joke you got me I got punked okay laugh it up guys
