Im not a habitual smoker and ive only smoked about three times in the last week or so....im about 6 feet, 230 pounds and i have to take a drug test in the next week or so...and im freaking out....do i have reason to be or will i be ok? can anyone offer any links that can confirm anything...cause ive been hearing a lot of different things lately...im going to post this in the blood test thread for the same thing...cause im concerned about blood tests and urine tests cause im not sure which test will be done....

i read part of it...but i still need some clarification...if i were to take the test on the 20th or so would i be ok???

it depends on the last time you smoked; if the last time you smoked was the date of your original post, then I would suggest substitution; if you had more time clean, then dilution is your best bet. You did not mention the kind of test you are taking, whether it be pre-employment or for probation; if for probation, do not substitute cause they watch you; if it is for pre-employment, keep in mind that 99.9% of pre-emp. tests are not observed, they just have you go into the bathroom, shut the door, and don't turn on the faucet, and don't flush the toilet.

the last time i smoked was friday of last week...as well the test is for pre employment....if my test is scheduled for the 28th do you think ill be ok?

well then for you its a toss up; you can go either way at the amount of time clean; subbing, remember, is more foolproof if prepared properly

if i put it off to the new year how good would my chances be provided i didnt smoke at all? im sorry to be a pain...but im really nervous as i really need this job...
