I have a drug test this coming friday and the last time I smoked was last friday.
I have smoked two fridays in a row but before that I hadn't smoked for a year (don't ask why I started again). I am around 5' 11" 135, so I do have a very high metabolism. I work out on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays. This week I will only work out on monday and wednesday before the test friday.

The drug tests used are cups with a thermometer on the side. The thermometer is a strip, so I don't think I have to worry about it being too high.

I have never substituted before but I was wondering if I can dilute very well before the test, and fill the cup till the thermometer changes colors to indicate correct temperature, and then finish it with the clean pee. Anyone have any idea? That would definitely get the temperature correct but will the clean pee even it out enough to where I don't test positive... and remember I will be diluting.. or should I just try to get the clean pee at a correct temperature? The past few days I have been eating low fat and drinking lots of water as well...

I'm no pro at this, but I did just sub for a test this morning. It went really well, and the temp was perfect. Of course I practiced a lot, and there was no way I could dilute. I smoke everyday, and just found out on Thursday I would be taking one today. Anyway, I just worked real hard on the temp. It sounds to me like you might be able to pass by diluting, you could buy a home test kit, and test yourself out. Good luck, let us know how it goes. mel

I think I can get the temp right... I don't want to take any chances... this wouldn't be a very good thing for me. Do you think I can keep it warm enough in a pill bottle...(don't worry nothing to make it show up... i cleaned it out as well..)

Rob, i'd get a home test and see if your naturally clean. There is a possiblity with your high metabolism that you will be naturally clean. I'm 5"5 150, moderate metabolism (just a lot of walking). I get clean very quickly, sometimes in 3 days after only a week or two clean. People on here will try to dispute this, but test yourself, see what happens.

Rob, I saw a home test at Rite Aid, so I would think Walgreens would have one.

I used a pill bottle to sub about 6 years ago and my temp was fine then too, but let me stress to you that if you are going to sub, practice. Oh yeah I read N2's quide on subbing, and that helped me a lot. GL
