Hi everyone,
I am a college student going into the medical profession. I have smoked everyday a bowl or two or more (I have trouble sleeping during finals) for the past few months, before that I was clean for three years. The last time I took a hit was Dec. 3. I will be drug testing for college sometime, I just have no Idea when. It could be in a few weeks, or a few months. It has been almost a month and I don't think I can make it any longer. I am going to buy a home kit to see if I am clean yet, and then I was thinking that if I was I could save a sample for when the test does happen. Is it true that you can store a sample for about a year in the freezer? I also looked into the synthetic products, but am a little unsure. I have to pass the test whaen it happens or I will have wasted the last three years of working my ass off. I am an honor student and no one I mean no one would even suspect that I use, other than my husband. I am about 5'3 and 110 not much body fat, If I do give in and take a few hits tonight any chance I will be clean by January 19?

im no proffesional but i think you'll be ok as long as you keep clean. i hear that drug testers can also test for detox pills and what not. that bieng a sign you were using and trying to cover it up. correct me if im wrong. im off to zeppelin forums later.

I don't suggest you smoke because you said it could be in a week. Just keep will power I know it sucks ass. I've been clean for 66 days now and before hand I was an everyday smoker. Do you really want to put all that work over the past few years in jeopardy. I know you are able to store frozen urine for a long period of time but someone such as Mel or S2 could give you an exact time period. Either way Good Luck...

Your priorities, not ours. If I was you I'd think hard about the relative importance of that brief buzz.

That said, if you havent smoked since 12/3 and you stay clean till the 19th, its unlikely you'd fail. I'm not sure about length of time to store frozen urine-- IM a synthetic user myself-- do a search, there are a few posts on the subject here

Are the synthetic products available reliable? While searching for info I found a medical supply site that sells test strips to detect Human IgG to insure that the sample is human urine while also checking for dilution. Do you know more on the subject? I am glad to hear that you think I will do fine on the test if I can stay away long enough. Thanks for the info.

synthetic urine like Quickfix is foolproof is the temp is right; frozen urine is viable for up to a year, if kept frozen until the day/morning of the test.

If you are clean now....and take a couple of hits....the chances are extremely good that you would be clean by the 19th. It might be a good time to buy a few home tests, and see how many days it takes you to clean out after a one time use....then please post your results here. I have purchased home tests on E-bay for like three bucks a test. Keep 4 or 5 on hand.... there worth every penny for peace of mind.
I personally have been right at the cut off level when testing myself at home....drank a half gallon of water, peed a couple of times and passed the next test easily in less than an hour.
Having these tests readily available gives one the ablility to get an idea of how long it takes an individual to clean out.... It, of course, takes different times for different people.
