hey out there, i am trying to find out if anyone has ACTUAL experience substituting with the "premixed laboratory urine" available on the internet, i know no brand names are to be mentioned, suffice it to say QF is a good abbreviation for the product i am referring to and it is not the powdered type you mix with water, it comes ready to go in a plastic bottle. after taking a pre-employ a few months ago, i am POSITIVE i could pass another test with the sub. method either with the strap-on rig or the bottle tucked into the tighty whities between the legs (though i would be a nervous as **it!!). my concern is that the testing facility will be able to screen the sample and be able to determine that it is "not human". anyone out there sub'd with this stuff - and results? also, how long is this stuff good for, i keep a bottle in my desk at work and in my car just in case so it gets hot/cold with the weather, etc... any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I tried some today 1-6-05, so I will let you know what happens with me! Test was at Quest labs. Man this whole piss test thing really has me stressed.

hey, thanks for the post please let me know how it turns out, i've got my fingers crossed for you! and i hear ya, i had to take a ua a few months ago and i couldn't sleep for 3 days. i had quit for a while but you never know till the MRO (or fat lady-ha ha) sings. did you use any apparatus for your test or did you just bring in the bottle and pour it into the cup - if you could give me some details on how you sub'd (heat source, etc..) i would appreciate that too. thanks!

Hey guys, I'm in the same boat. I subbed using QF for a QuestDiagnostics test this past Friday. I heated in the microwave for ten seconds then crotched it under two pairs of boxer briefs. Definitely practice the crotch as you'll have to get the technique that's most comfortable for you. I found the most comfortable for me was placing it between my sac and my leg. Sticking it under your armpit would work as well. Just be sure to use the armpit opposite your writing hand as you will have to sign some documents. I was nervous about the temp so I parked near the test site to double check the temp, it was sitting at 98. I went straight to the test site and had to wait for about 40 minutes before my name got called. The longest 40 minutes of my life. I was crossing my legs and doing anything I could to keep the temp up. Long story short I submitted my sample and the nurse read off 92 degrees and checked the box that it was within range. If I had to do it again I would suggest putting it in the microwave for ten seconds then rubberband the included heat pack to the bottle and crotch. Better to be over temp and wait for it to drop then to be under temp and screwed. I'm nervously awaiting the results, i'll keep you posted on how it turns out. ~NL

Hey guys, just wanted to give you an update on my test using QF 4.0. I took the test this past Friday and just got the results... I passed with flying colors!! Now I get to start my dream job on Wednesday morning. I was nervous as hell waiting for the results, but I am a true believer now. Congratulations World as I am SURE you passed as well.

i have been using synthetics for 4 months now and they have worked everytime. i actually get it at a headshop near me for sixteen dollars for a one time use plastic vial of synthetic urine.
but you must understand my conditions
1. i get tested by a company called labcorp
2. i dont get checked for temp

oh ya to the guy that keeps synthetics in his desk, i would recomend removing them from there for the following reasons
1. people go through other people's stuff at work all the time, even for the littlest reasons (needing pens, pencils, small office items)
2. thats just stupid (no offense)
you should just keep them in your pocket

and on a last note, I'M HIGH! (said the way dave chappelle says it after beating up two police officers on his show)

thanks for the posts, you guys rule. looks like i'm subn it next time! if you can swing it, get the strap-on (ha ha) rig with the "synthetic member" if you know what i mean. i did test it out just by wearing it to work one day, i put it on at lunch and wore it the rest of the day. got home at 6 and let'er rip into a cup with temp. strip and it was still at 98 - perfect.

I have a test next week and was going to try the concentrated from ClearTest, anyone use that?

The synthetics work great, in my experience. I've used them twice under fire, meaning my job was at risk if I failed, and came through with no worries.

I also used the Urinator device to keep the pee warm. Highly recommended, if you can swing it. It works great, and I've tested it numerous times at home.

I'm of the mind that substitution is the only way to go. Takes all the stress out of a stressful situation. Just make sure you practice your routine before going in.
