Hey guys, great forum here and ton of great info.

Anyways, I am going to be joining the Air Force soon and I assume I will be tested. I have been an everyday, multiple sessions a day smoker for at least the past year. I am 5'9", 160 lbs, Fast metabolism, and athletic shape. I really dont know when I will be tested as I am going to my first interview with my recruiter on Tuesday, January 18 2005. I stopped smoking today, the 14th.

Any ideas how long I need before I am clean? I am drinking water a lot now.

Well i was in the military about 12 years ago adn we did take tests. But i had Pot in my system at that point i smoked almost everyday purely KB's for about 4 years I did not mask or try and cover up. I was approached about it and explained that i was at a party and smoke a little and still got in . I would expect now to be the same. That is just my opinion of my experience. Good Luck

As S2 state that is what your most likely looking at. If you want that to be closer to 25 than 45 then drink plenty of fluids, exercise, and eat a low fat diet with fiber. Good Luck...

Every branch of the US military employs random drug tests. If you get caught you can be discharged. The Army grants more second chances than the other branches but a second chance is at the discretion of the commanding officer. On average, 10% of the military gets tested each month.

Unless you're planning on staying straight for the next four years you might want to reconsider your career choice. I was in the Air Force. They're very picky about their personnel.

I do plan to stay clean, for the rest of my life as I am pursuing a Federal Agency job.

So I have been drinking water nonstop and also cranberry juice.

My friend also has some stuff from GNC called.. i forget.. Im sure you all know. How well do those work?

Does the GNC product "Goldenseal" work? Or is it the same as all these others products that work as dilution?
