I smoked wednesday night. Tonight is saturday night. Been drinking powerade all day, not A LOT, but quite a bit. Just took an at home test and 2 visible lines showed up on the test which indicates negative. The test line was fainter, but nevertheless there was a line. Is this a good sign if I am scheduled for a screen on wednesday? Im sure the extra 3 days will help if i keep the same routine. Granted, it wasn't my first piss of the day, but it was only 3 days after my last smoke. It is 11:00 right now, i know to truly get a good idea it should have been taken earlier, but im so stressed out i wanted to go ahead and take one. My test is for probation so will this at home test be like the test i have to take? I mean same cutoff point? The negative test helped calm me down, but i know i still have to stay on top of it. By the way, ive smoked about 3x a month b4 this and am done smoking now. Any replies are appreciated.

I also want to mention that when i met with my PO, she said that i will be tested for many drugs, not marijuana exclusively. The test I gave myself was strictly for marijuana. Does that mean anything? I don't use any other drugs, just wondering if this means there is a difference in the tests.

I've got a feeling part of the reason you already passed is because of the amount of liquids you've been drinking. The probation tests will MOST likely be the exact same as your home tests with a 50ng/ml cutoff.

Thanks for you quick responses LiveandLearn. The amount of fluids i have drank today were not THAT much. But by me being able to pass already, is that a good sign? Im sure most people wouldn't be able to pass that early no matter how much they drank. And i still have 3 full days to clean after today. Just trying to get some reassurance, as I know u r in the same boat as I and know how nervous i must feel. By the way, do u usually get notified in advance like this when tested or do they call you and make u show up on same day?

It is probably a better sign than not passing and it shows you could pass with dilution. From my expierence I have scheduled meetings with my PO anywhere from every 2-4 weeks and I will give a UA most of the time. They can and WILL random you.
