Here is my story. Hopefully it will prove useful to someone other than myself.

I am posting this because I have searched other threads try to find someone similiar to myself. Perhaps advice given to them would apply to me. Some have been close but I am still left without what I have and still am searching for.

I am 25. I weigh 225 and am 6'1. Up until 5 months ago I had been very active. I would run every day and lift weights. Then I became lazy and just started sitting in front of my computer. I would say my metabolism has dramatically slowed since I can tell I have gained weight. My diet usually consists of some sort of diet soda (usually Diet Mt Dew). In the past month I have done 30 minutes of cardio twice out of boredom.

I took a urine test today. Today would have been the 25th-26th day since I had last smoked. Before then it had been 6 days before. Before that it was usually at the most 1-2 times a month. Every time I have smoked within the past 6 months it had been a small bowl out of a water pipe. The last time, however, was some really good stuff this guy had. He said it was the best stuff to come around in years.

Today is Monday. I found out on Friday that I had been hired on with this company. I thought to myself that it had been 30 days since the last time so I wasn't too worried. Then I remembered it was less time than I had thought. Only 25 days.

So last night I started drinking only water and an orange slushy I bought at the gas station. My test was today at 3:45pm. I woke up at 9am (somehow) and proceeded to drink water on a consistent basis. Then I remembered something about asprin. I popped 4 tablets at about 10:45am and continued to drink water. Then I bought a liter of GatorAde and downed that.

Test time came and I had urinated quite a bit before hand. Right before I went to the clinic I stopped to get some gas and could not hold it any longer. So when I arrived at the clinic I really didnt need to go. He gave me the cup and I suprisingly filled it half way to the line. The other half I had to force out which kind of worried me. Maybe the good pee was left at the gas station. The pee in the cup was slightly yellow.

So I am leaving this to anyone who may be able to give me some peace of mind so I may sleep easier tonight. Perhaps this may help someone else as well. I will update this post tomorrow when I find out the results.

I would find it highly unlikely that you tested positive on your UA

Thank you for the re-encouragment. May I ask what you base your assumption on? Again, thank you. I think I may just have a few beers tonight and try to forget about it. The stress is really getting to me. I must keep this job.

I just noticed the link containing additional information on UA. Great information. So do you think the ~10 day rule would apply in this case?

Well I guess no news is good news. Its 12:20pm and not a word from the clinic. I guess I'm good to go. This is a great website. Thank you.
