Couldn't find the answer to this anywhere... are the home test kits you buy at a drugstore EMIT tests?

yes. the other test type is GC and requires lab equipment. Emit tests use immunoassays to determine drug use. Cool?

Thanks, Killa. All you guys who regularly post knowledgable answers are awesome. One more question: Are the THC test strips you can order over the net for a couple bucks each as reliable as the hometest kits you can get at the drugstores for 15 bucks? Again, thanks all for your help!

usually try to find out if they comply with NIDA or the like. Certification is the key. Most of the test kits available are as accurate as can be. I don't think it matters. I tested with both and got similar results. Good luck

Before I ordered my home kits I called the providing company and they assured me they were FDA approved. Don't know know how much that means but figured if the gov approved the test kit and they are the ones busting us it must be ok.
