If someone were to drink 10 gallons of water in theory before taking a gc/ms test at 1/ng , what would be the likelhood that a person may pass?

Im not taking a test, im just curious.

diluted - Retake

I don't know that drinking that much water would be very good for you.
How much time do you think this would take? That's over 37 liters of water

. I don't know that a human can drink 18 and a half 2 liters of water in one day. That's about two liters an hour for 18 hours. I don't think it's possible.

Dilution is a factor, but my guess is that you are asking how poweful the GC tests are, right?
I haven't a clue.
Anyone know if a GC can detect 1n/g of thc? Theoretically of course....

I believe they can detect 1 ng/ml.

Back to the question, if for some reason the lab completely blew off testing all factors such as SG and Creatine levels and you were able to down TEN gallons of water then yes I've got a feeling you could pass a GC/MS for the simple fact that you'd be peeing pure water at that point.

Live and Learn is correct...they "can" detect as low as 1ng. Not usually tested that low...50 is generally the cut off....sometimes 20...US Army...14

I would guess that you eventually start vomiting water after the 5th gallon or so.

I drank the recommended amounts of water for dilution, took a home test then tried to drink another 1.5 liters of water since I got a faint line on the test. I had to make the water come back up since it felt like it was just past my throat. I am a smaller person, 5'10", 140LBS but 10 gallons is a lot of water! I found an article the other day that says they do have higher cutoffs for thc because people claim second hand mj smoke caused them to fail. Im sure these tests could test very low amounts but then you say you were at a concert or something. Heres the article:

The normal cutoff level for a GC/MS confirmation test is 15 ng/ml.
