Post Help test is coming

My husband has smoked 2 to 3 joints aday for a very long time and now they are starting to drug test at work. He has stoppped smoking and taking a detox II to liguid. How long before he can pass a test and do you have any suggestions for speeding up the process or for passing the test if he has to take it in a week or two.

As you probably know after reading posts here, this is not an exact science. Some people take longer than others to test clean, even with the dilution methods.

IMHO, 2-3 joints a day, for a very long time, will take way longer than 1-2 weeks to clean up. Hate to be Debbie Downer, but that's just not enough time.

You may want to read the threads about substitution because thats the way I would go if I were him, and a test was looming in the next couple of weeks.

A home test kit should be on your shopping list for tomorrow. If anything, just to show you that it's going to be tough to test negative after smoking so much for so long.

I smoked one or two hits, never mind joints, every night for a year and it took me 3 weeks to get even close to a negative test. But, then thats just me. As you research, you'll learn that everybody is different, but I've seen precious few posts from people that have tested negative sooner than 2 weeks with smoking daily long term.

Don't despair. This can be done. Just read all you can and figure out what's best for your situation.

Good luck. This is gonna be a stressful couple of weeks.

Detox liquids are crap.
Shoddy science mixed with greed. THey prey on the fears of those of us who don't know better.
Read the threads on substitution and look into a synthetic urine. Some of the people on this thread swear by it.
That way, he can keep it in his briefcase/pocket and mix it before the test.
To pass in two weeks, he would need to quit now and dilute properly the day of the test. OR he could substitute.
Best of luck.

You stated that your husbands work just started to drug test.....I would learn to sub if it was me....avoid problems in the future...it's easier and the result is more controled...but that's what I would do...we all make our own decisions....good luck

Default Still don't know what to do

My husband decided against the detox liquid. Still don't know if he will dilute or sub. I totaly agree that it is not fair the way they do this test and just because of the what shows up on the test (even if it was weeks ago and not while you were at work) it still goes against you. Things need to change.
