Hey guys,
I'm 5'9", 181lbs, white male with average metabolism, and I work out hardly ever. For the past year or so, I've smoked frequently, averaging an eighth of an ounce of KB/hydro every ten days. 23 days ago, I quit (at least for the jobsearch). Today is the 23rd day since I last smoked, and since that day I've eaten reasonably healthily and have consumed large quantities of water. I took a urinalysis test today through a system called EScreen, with which I was heretofore unfamiliar. An hour before my test, I voided, then drank 3 pints of water, took four B-Complex vitamins, 3 325mg aspirin, and drank a bottle of The Liquid Stuff. Following The Stuff directions included another 16oz of water, and after that I drank another 8oz. An hour or maybe an hour and fifteen minutes later, I took my test and my sample was a bright "vitamin yellow". Is there any realistic possibility that I passed, or am I screwed?

why you wasted your money on "the stuff" is beyond me... didn't you use a home thc test and pre-test yourself? you may have found that you were clean to begin with. you can still do it right now probably, especially if the dilution hasn't completely worn off. if this is for a job, why didn't you sub for it? did they watch you? synthetic urine can be found really cheap, like only $12 for the dehydrated for whizzinator and they have heat packs for only $1, or quickfix4.0 is on ebay for only $20. good luck

I wasted my money on The Stuff after a recommendation from a friend and before I began searching online for more info...Had I known, I definitely wouldn't have bought it, but the place where I got it would only offer store credit for a return, which I didn't need. I went to the store on my lunch break from another job (which I didn't have to test for) to follow up on an application I'd put in a couple weeks ago, and they interviewed me on the spot and asked me to take my drug test before the end of the day. I left the interview at 3PM today, started the regimen at 3:30, got to the test site at 4:30 and tested around 4:40, so I didn't have time to contact anybody I know who could've given me a sub and I had no way of buying any synthetic beforehand. I should've asked to take the test the next day, but they put me on the spot and I acquiesced 'cause I really need the job.

You did the best you could under the circumstances- and there is a chance you passed. People are really different- as you have probably noticed on the forum.Some folks- especially the younger males such as yourself seem to clear their systems a little faster- that seems to be the trend I've observed anyway. For peace of mind I'd do like Locutus said and get a home test- the only thing is the aspirin might be hitting your system now- as opposed to at 440 when you took the test. I read you have to have the aspirin in your system a few hours before the test, so use your judgemnt. If you wait itl it's all worn off- the drink, aspirin, etc and test yourselgf and it's neg then you're good, if it's pos then maybe you're good. Don't know what Escreen is- probably a standard EMIT., dontcha think?

I figure it's probably a standard EMIT; it was just a new name to me, which of course is something I was curious about. I'm planning on getting an at-home test tonight and trying it with the first void tomorrow morning. I'll post tomorrow whether or not I passed it. I hate to nag, but do you think the chance I passed is more likely than not, or is it just a coinflip? I didn't really have any idea what to expect since the situation didn't fit with any of the others I'd read

that's understandable, i made the same mistake before i learned more about this stuff too. but i'm guessing you probably passed your test because of all the water you drank along with the aspirin and vitamin B, unless they say it was too diluted dur to low creatinine or specific gravity levels, but when you test your 1st piss in the morning, that will probably still show positive because it's not diluted and it's the most potent of all day. good luck

So i just took my at-home test...it was the First Check Home Drug Test Kit for THC (but don't they just test metabolites?) Anyway, after 8 minutes, the strip is white up to the THC line; at that point, there is a very VERY faint change to pink, then the control is dark pink. I know it says any line is is a confirmed negative, but it's really faint. I'm still nervous. Should I be?

if that one was for your 1st void of the day, i thought it might be positive again, i'll bet if you took another home test after repeating the dilution method just as you did it for the real test, you would see that line get noticeably darker anyway... so don't worry

If your getting a faint line with your urine un-diluted, I believe you probably passed your test..w/23 days clean, and all the dilution....It sounds like your good....but it IS always good to test oneself before going in for the real test... Seeing you passed a home test is great for the confidence, and you don't have to come here asking a bunch of stoners if we think you passed
But...from one stoner to another....I think you probably passed.

Hey guys, here's an update:

I took my test two weeks and one day ago. I was told that if everything went as planned, I'd be able to start the following Thursday (one week ago). When I called on Wednesday to find out what time to report the following day, I was told my background check hadn't come back, and to wait for a call on when to report. A week later, I called again, to no avail. Today, the manager who interviewed me for the job called and said that no, it wasn't my background check holding things up, it was my drug test. They haven't received the results, and it's been 15 days. The way she was wording things, I think she assumed I hadn't taken it; she was wondering if I was still interested in working with them, which of course I am. She's going to call the drug-test place tomorrow and try to get to the bottom of it.

The way I figure, there can only be four options for an outcome:
1) They misplaced my results, and I passed
2) They misplaced my results, and I failed
3) They lost my results, and
4) They sent them off for more testing.

Or they could've gotten lost in the mail. I'm extremely worried though, as I started smoking again this weekend. I'm going to call the drug-test place myself tomorrow to see if I can figure something out. What do you guys think has happened? If I had failed or was suspected of adulterating, wouldn't the drug-test place call me back and request a retest, or at least notified of a failed test? In 15 days, they haven't notified me OR my potential employer of any results, good or bad. I'm a nervous wreck.
