i have a question for the experienced weed lovers, here it is! me and my brother grow our own weed and keep it between the both of us, i have been told where i work they are starting random drug testing starting two months from now. i plan on not smoking anymore but i was wondering if i stop and get clean and then i help my brother manicure the buds when mature by not smoking it and just touching the weed for cleaning it to dry will that make me test positive just by touching it and not smoking it, i know this sounds like a dumb question but i wanna be sure and not take any chances on falling a piss test, i have to much to lose if the piss test would be positive.

i dunno, but i have heard that a lot of skin contact from manicuring a crop might be a problem for drug tests, so be sure to cover your arms & wear surgical type gloves.

you do what you gotta do, but if it was me, i'd be ordering some synthetic subbing supplies, like dehydrate or concentrate, so i could keep smoking and be able to sub on random notice, unless you think they'll be watching you real closely like probation officers do.

Touching the weed shouldn't give you a positive test, although rubbing it all over your body might. To prevent any possibility of absorption through the skin buy a box of surgical rubber gloves and wear them when you're manicuring the plants.

To stay clean you'll also need to avoid being in any enclosed spaces where marijuana is being smoked. Second-hand smoke will show up on tests, especially if you were exposed to it shortly before the test.

True, the touching of the plants will almost definetly not make you show up positive....but like the previous post says.....you might not want to roll around in the buds, or rub them in you belly....as tempting as that may be The latex gloves sound like a very good idea just in case.

this is news to me, i thought the common knowledge was quite the opposite. wasn't it proven somewhere that 2nd hand smoke doesn't affect urine tests? do you have any links that show it does? this is an important point i need to know for advising stoners on another forum too. thanks

well it sort of can.... under normal events no, but if u hot boxed the hell out of somthing and we are talking alot of cheba and u did it frequently it is possible it could make u come up posotive, u are after all inhaling thc......
