Hi every1...newbie here \o

I'm a bit miffed at the min. I had a urine test and failed after 64 days of nothin.....AND nothin for over 3 years previous to that. Even when I did 64 days ago I only had like 4 tokes on the bloody thing!

I'm 5'9, roughly 150lbs but don't do any excercise. I've read all over the place that for an occasional smoker (which I wouldn't even class myself as anymore) it takes roughly 30 days to get rid. Does any1 have any ideas of why I failed?

Also, I was thinking of kicking up a fuss about it, just totally act innocent about it all. I've read up some cases that have been accepted for reasons such as passive smoking....altho I know that it would need to still be a huge amount that you would need to inhale! Other than that there would be Ibrobrufen, but then surely they've heard that excuse so many times.

Please if any1 has any ideas on how I could have still turned up positive after that pls let me know.....from 'totally miffed'

If it's the standard cutoff (and probably even if it wasn't), and since you only smoked once, I'd say the test is faulty.

That test had to be faulty. Can you test yourself to see if you get the same results?
Are you taking anything that could show up as a false positive on the test?
I am passing on at home tests and it has only been 7 days since I smoked and i am not really skinny. Not big by any means but a regular sized gal..
I would kick up a fuss definitly. Sounds to me like a bogus test.

Would it of mattered tho if I've been around it constantly, fair enough it's not been in confined spaces or loadsa ppl smokin it at once, but could that have possibly caused the test to come back positive?

I'm in the UK, I know I can get tests off the net, so I'll try n get one n c what happens!

But I'm deffo gonna kick up a stink about it, if there were any traces, which I'm sure would have been tiny, then surely I can do somethin.

Maybe you ate something that has given you a false positive test. Being around second hand smoke affects people who don't smoke tobbacco, why not MJ.

it is the old adage, that when you are around others smoking, you inevitably are going to ingest some of that marijuana smoke, and hence THC. Unfortunately, you would not ingest enough to bring a positive result on a test, unless you were confined in a non-ventilated closet for hours, trust me, it takes a lot of second hand smoke, more than most could ever handle, to test positive for a THC test. It is possible, but highly improbable.

As to your test, I would definately get a second opinion, you should have been clean if what you say is true of your habits prior to the test.

on the unlikely chance that your home test shows positive on your 1st piss of the day, then for your retest you can follow the simple methods for dilution in the sticky thread, a couple quarts of gatorade, a vitamin B2 and some aspirin using the mid-stream technique after pre-pissing seveal times will surely fix you right up

Does any1 know what the cut offs should be for the UK? and is it dependent on whether it is for pre-emplyment or for a diff reason??
