If you fail a pre employee drug test............what happens?

Do they call you/letter?

Do they retest diluted urine? (I did a detox tea)

Anything you can say? I wrote down that I take ibuprofin.

Took test yesterday, start date (orientation) March 2nd.

Any thoughts?

If you fail, you don't get the job (obviously) but notice of such can come a variety of ways. They could call you and tell you there was a problem with your drug screen. Then they will tell you that passing a drug screen was a condition of employment. Then you both hang up and you go looking elsewhere. I have heard of some companies offering reapplication after 90 days, but I have also heard that such consideration is rare.
They could tell you to contact a representative of the testing center as well. My understanding is that the rep usually tells you that they detected an amount of XXXXX drug in your sample. Usually the end of the road.
MOST companies will tell you that you have failed to meet a condition of employment and retract their offer.
Just so you know, they don't call the police or your parents (if you are worried about that....)or, well, anyone else. It ends there.
Employment is an 'at will' relationship, meaning that either party could terminate the relationship for any reason. Granted, there are certain things that they cannot deny you for - race, creed, color, sex, etc.- drug use just never made the list. So, realistically, there aren't any reprecussions save for the job retraction thing.....

Yup.
I think its overpriced dilution.
Read the stickies about dilution (S2?)
Do a search for aspirin too, it seems to work for some.
I think that if that product worked, it would be all over this board. However, the reality is that dilution/dilution and aspirin/substitution seem to provide the most reliable results.
My buddy swore up and down that the reason he passed was this tea that took hours to prepare and consume. He had to drink a gallon of a tea. It took him awhile just to get that amount of water hot enough. He said that drinking the nasty stuff was gross and difficult. He passed, but I would bet my ferarri (the one in my dreams) that ANYONE would have the same result with an equivalent amount of water. Some companies don't care enough to ask for a retest for dilution, some do. Some just want a line or no line.

Thanks........I am stressing, looking for as much info as possible. Glad to hear your friend passed, hope I have the same luck.

If it's diluted, which I don't think it was it had good color (not clear) Does the lab call me? OR Does the job??
I've been downing cranberry juice and water, just in case I have to have a re-test, which at this point I'm hoping for a diluted sample.

took test on Thursday at 3pm, when do you think I'll hear, orientation is March 2nd, which is wednesday.
