Hello boys and girls:

I need a little "professional guidance" (lol) here with my situation. I toked a bowl (3 hits) on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 and have a urinanalysis for THC, etc. scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2005. That is 8 days! I weigh 250 at 6'1.

I bought this stuff from GNC called "Cleansing Formula, Digestive" and "Goldenseal Root", both capsules that the guy said would take care of it. The main ingredient is "Psyllium Seed Husks Powder" at 750mg in the cleansing formula herbal stuff. I have no clue if this stuff works. I have been taking it since I found out I was being tested.

Would you advise buying the drink called "Ready Clean", which is drank 1 hour prior to the test. If so, will this stuff show up in the test results? QuestDiagnostics is performing it. Or would you recommend I buy something else that GNC would have to drink prior, or is it just a waste of money? If I do not get this job, I am royally screwed. PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!

how often did you smoke before that last time you mentioned? daily? never? get a home thc test and pretest yourself to see if you're clean or not. what is this test for? a job? that's my guess since it's at Quest, so they won't be watching you then, you can just sub it. get some substitute synthetic or other clean urine and ready the sticky on substitution, at the top of this forum. also read the other stickys about dilution and mel's tips. the dilution can be your backup plan just in case they do watch you or something. goldenseal is such an old classic remedy that many labs have tested for it's presence and i've heard that even clean people can fail if they detect the goldenseal. i would suggest that you stop taking it. they might be able to tell that you took the Ready Clean by the abnormally glowing color of your sample, but the bad part is those drinks really don't help much, and many people do fail after trying them... i did a couple of times. i would not get anything like that. for your backup plan go with the gatorade-aspirin-vitamin B2 & creatine plan in the sticky threads. practice the plan and retest yourself at least a day before your real test to make sure it works and everything. good luck!

only thing to add here is that most likely you will not get tested for the presence of goldenseal, as they usually test for adulterants along the line of visine, bleach, etc, that are placed into the sample after you fill up the cup. Ready clean is undetectable as well. Both offer a limited edge when it comes to testing, though with your eight days of being clean, the Ready Clean will dilute you enough to most likely pass.

The psyllium husks in the ingredience (?)(spell check) is just a very high dose of fiber. As most know, that will help direct more toxins (metabolites) into ones stool, as opposed to ones urine. I didn't know they put that into there so called "potions", but I suppose that would help a bit...
