Ok, Yesterday i purchased a home drug test kit for marijauna , i tested negative even though i have only not smoked for 20 days. My urine test was today. Still a little paranoid i drank a quick flush drink containing creatine and brought someone elses urine to the test. That didn't work because of the temperature and I was asked for another sample. which is fine because as I said i tested negative with the home kit , and drank a quick flush before the test. My question is due to suspiscion , will my sample be tested for any masking agents such as a quick flush and if so will it be detected if creatine levels and ph levels are normal? Please someone whose has any knowledge of this please respond as soon as possible thanks.

one thing about those drinks is that creatine doesn't metabolize into creatinine right away, which is why they check for that instead. you'll probably pass ok, but it could also turn up diluted, but negative, which means you can probably get a retest. how much water/total fluid did you drink? what did the sample look like when you handed the cup over? like a glowing highlighter? how come the temp on your sub sample wasn't right? no heat patch? to bad you didn't just go straight since you know you had passed the home test already. good luck

No no heat patch i was so nervous that i didn't even remember to use my lighter to heat it up a little , then again it did feel very warm, lol just not warm enough. I have a great job and make a very nice salary,and this was pre-employment for an even better job, so i was just really nervous. My urine was a decent color ,actually pretty close to the first samples color , i drink the required amount of water to drink for quick flush and took a vitamin. i'm not worried about the ph level because i'm an insulin diabetic and it's normal to have a low ph level due to diabetes. Just one more quick question for you. why would my creatine level not be high enough anyway? Thanks alot for responding i was buggin' out for most of the day lol

first off i must point out again that it's not creatine level that is checked, but the creatinine level, which requires 24-48 hours for the creatine to metabolize into that. those quick flush drinks work by diluting your urine, while the vitamin B in there keeps it from looking too clear. but the creatine in there does nothing to help your creatinine levels in such a short term as a few hours. it depends on factors such as how much water you drank with it, but sometimes using these drinks does result as being too diluted. those cases were flagged either due to the low creatinine levels, or the low specific gravity levels, or both, because they both go down when you drink too much fluid. which is why they check those things sometimes, especially if the color is too clear or abnormal... and also why the dilution plans in the stickys recommend taking creatine supplements for about 3 days straight before diluting with a couple of quarts of gatorade, instead of too much water, and adding salt to it, and taking the rolaids too, along with a vitamin B2 for good color.
