| Does a sample go for a GC/MS confirmation only after testing positive on a panel test? Or can it possibly go for being diluted, rather than being asked to submit another sample? |

| They send the sample for GC/MS only if the initial test is positive. Since the threshold for a positive depends on the concentration of THC metabolites, analyzing what is thought to be a diluted sample would be pointless.
