i'm going to apply for a job today and i know that they will screen me for THC, i am just not entirely sure when. 2 weeks ago i smoked every night, but in moderate quantities, mind you. (crazy trip to kentucky). i am not a frequent smoker, maybe 1-2 times a month, and that's only within the past 4 months. i am 6'2", 155 lbs. (tall skinny bastard i know) and i was wondering if i even need to dilute (drink a **** ton of water) or any other preemptive methods to pass the drug test. i think that given my minimal amount of THC intake, except for 2 weeks ago, i should be ok by just drinking 6-8 glasses of water every day.

any opinion or help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

If you smoked every night for several days a mere two weeks ago, and your test is today, then I would say that you would probably NOT be okay just drinking a lot of water. Maybe, maybe not, but it's hard enough to tell that *I* wouldn't want to chance it if I were you. I'd probably go substitution, but that's me.

Of course, if your test is today, then by the time you read this reply you may already have taken it...

Two weeks MAY be enough, IF you get lots of exercise (regularly, as in over the last two weeks, not just this morning) and if your metabolism is high.

Don't guess. Be sure. Do your water dilution. Get yourself some home THC tests and check the first part of your first pee of the morning. If that comes up negative you should be OK for the real test. If not, you should plan on using a more involved dilution protocol, substitution, or doping your sample. Information about all three can be found in these threads and article:

i applied for the job today, but only if i get it will i have to sumbit to a drug screening. i was only inferring to be sure. i need this job!

my metabolism is quite high, for i am only 18 years old and i'm very tall and thin, with only 18% body fat. anyway, thanks to all who replied.
