Hello,

I am required to do a pre-employment urine test or blood test for drugs (don't exactly know which one they will do to me) and I'm a lot worried:
I'm 27, heavy smoker (2 to 3 every night, normal weed but mixed with tobacco), I am a chick, 125 lbs, 5.6'.

I never had a test like this before and I don't know what to do. My test is in two weeks (mid april).

I don't know what to do? How long before the test do I have to stop smoking?
I saw about this urinator but I am a little concerned about the safety of buying such products online or on using it the D Day.

Please help, I need more info on all that stuff!

I'm fairly new here, but I think the senior members will agree with me on this. Almost all pre-employment tests are urine, not blood. First of all, your best chance of passing is to use substitution. Since you're a heavy smoker, it could up to a month or more for you to be clean. I've been doing a lot of research on this subject recently, because I have a pre-employment test coming up myself. Your best bet is to either use the urine of a clean friend, or purchase some synthetic urine. Since this is a pre-employment test, you will not be observed. As far as synthetic urine, Quick Fix is supposedly a great product that many people swear by. You can purchase it at http://www.urineluck.com . They also have forums on that site, where you can see the experiences of others that have used the product. Now if you are just totally against trying substitution and insist on using your own sample, then you need to stop smoking immediately. Eat a low fat diet, and start excercising like mad until a few days before your test. Purchase some home testing kits so that you can gauge your progress and see where you are at closer to test time.

Thanks for your reply but I feel so stressed now... I don't want to stop smoking though and as I never did a test I didn't even know that they sometimes check. I thought about using someone else's pee but don't know anybody who do not smoke!

About buying online, is it safe? Do you use your credit card? I may sound a little paranoiac but I'm not an american and I am not used to american rules! I was thrilled when I knew about the fact that is legal to check your urine or your blood for drugs...

if you got 2 weeks i bet you'll pass. very good chance, i have similar stats and it took me about 13-14 days to get clean after smoking all last year.

get a home test and use the first of the day to see if you're clean
