Ive seen lots of people talking about caffine drinks....

In as much as it 'seems' like they make you piss... they do...

But BOTH caffine and alcohol also contribute to water retention and fat storage.

Pissing alot and cleansing are not one in the same.

Stick to water, cranberry and true natural cleansing agents!!!!

Caffeine and alcohol are both diuretics - they cause you to lose water in the form of urine. That seems to be directly contradictory to the idea that they cause water retention.

What is the source of your information about caffeine and alcohol?

a buddy of mine is a biologist...

I will try and talk him into getting involved here.
His warning was to stick to natural fiber based liquids.. and avoid caffine and alcohol.

His explanation as best as I can relay.... is that they will make you piss alot.
but the body will over compensate for this reaction by retaining water, and he added that both contribute to fatty cell storage, as opposed to fatty cell elimination...

since THC is stored in the fat cells, you want to eliminate instead of build up storage.

Eliminating fat cells is not of interest the day of the test when you are trying to dilute. By all accounts drinking excessive amounts of liquid prior to test day is a waste.

Drink Water, Cranberry Juice, or some Gatorade. Potassuim pills have been help at times.

You want to burn fat to flush THC metabolites out of your system. This is a long-term strategy. Burning fat releases the metabolites into your bloodstream so that they can be eliminated.

For the last few days before a test you want to be in fat-storing mode so that you can eliminate what's already in your bloodstream without releasing any more.

No, they will not. They will actually speed up metabolism a bit. If you take the full spectrum of omegas, along with the proper cofactors, (antioxidants), cut out regular fried foods and fatty foods from your diet, you speed up your metabolism considerably. (Along with lecithin, and some other key suppliments...EFAs, etc) I've stated before that this would be some very cogient research for many of the members here constantly looking for ways to speed up metabolism. (and of course exersise....fiber )
If you partake the average American diet, your clogging your liver (which detoxifies your blood) and slowing your metabolism down.
Proper fat intake, high fiber, well hydrated, proper supplimentation can improve your health, and speed up detox times.
But of course, as stated here before, all these things take weeks to have effect..........
