Asprin is a blood thinner.... some of the amounts of asprin I have seen reported seem quite INSANE!!

Doses of asprin like that combined with a minor bump, bruise or injury could likley result in bleeding to death. Anyone experience nose bleeds after taking such high doses?

Niacin is also very tramatic to the body... I actually experienced it once in my military days. Random testing after a weekend party. I took 4 niacin pills and pounded water.... felt like I had an entire body sunburn and tought I might die for the rest of the day.

Your claim about bleeding to death from a little cut because you took a larger amount of aspirin is pure hyperbole.

If you're healthy (as in your stomach is not sensitive to aspirin, or you're not a hemophiliac, which already have enough trouble with healing cuts), you're not gonna have to worry about this much, if at all.

A total of eight aspirin is taken. This doesn't even exceed the recommended max you could take in a 24-hour period.

High doses of asprin is dangerous...

As I read some of these post, had I not known any better, I would have assumed that I could swallow as much asprin as I wanted and it will only help...

you might not bleed to death from a simple cut... but should something happen that would normally just cause bruising, could result in internal bleeding, much like a hemophiliac.

elderly people with heart or artery problems are prescribed whats called baby asprin, they need it to help with circulation.. but not too much because the risk of internal bleeding is too great.

I personally experienced this my first year of college... flu season sick as a dog... took asprin all day, more than I should, sneezing, runny nose... next thing I know my nose is bleeding, and doesnt stop for 12 hours. Go to emergancy room, they get it to stop.... and tell me that I took entirely too much asprin, and my nose would have bleed for the next two days. I only took about eight pills all day long. I had to stay still for two days, and given instructions to report back immediatly if it began to bleed again. They had this powder that makes the blood clot, but the possibility of it starting from a deeper point was likley.

Ive never had issues with nose bleeds before or since....

Im just saying be careful... and try to add warnings. people can get the wrong ideas.
