Can fail test because of creatine use?

I smoke pot once every 7-14 days, usually not a lot.

I weight 175 lbs and work out + cardio (swimming, running) regularly (almost every day) My metabolizm is about average.

My test is in two weeks, it will have been 30+ days since last time I smoked, and I will do the home test before hand to be certain I am clean.

A couple of days ago I started using creatine for work outs - daily use of 5-6 grams, and plan to continue for a couple of months.

Question: can high creatine level in my system cause false positive that will trigger suspicion, or a possible retest request?

no worries, i'm sure you'll be fine. when they test the creatinine levels, it's only a problem if they are too low, indicating over-dilution. good luck

Taking creatine wouldn't hurt your test

Thanks for the replies. I did the home test yesterday out of curiosity and passed (not surprised - I am not a heavy smoker). I'll continue monitoring the board in case anyone has had an issue when excess levels of creatine(ine) in the urine came up as an alert... I just don't want to be retested, because I'm gonna wanna smoke after the test.
