I have a quick question..mostly because I'm getting a little worried. I hadn't smoked for 3 months until Saint Patrick's Day (a Thursday). Before, I was a heavy user, but I'm 21 5'8 and 125 with fairly fast metabolism, I also take a 'one-a-day' vitamin everyday (which contains many things including B-12), so I assumed my system would've been clean before smoking again. I had gone through a job interview with a bank and wasn't expecting a call back for at least another week..they called me back on the following Tuesday offering me the job and said that I had to get a drug test done within 48 hours of the call. Starting that day I began drinking cranberry juice and water because I knew it had worked before. I mostly ate chicken and pasta up until Thursday when I had my drug test done. I drank a high amount of cranberry juice the night before, and 2 bottles of water before going in to take my test. The reason I'm so worried is because when I peed in the cup my urine had a faint yellowish tone to it but was mostly clear..and when the lady poured it into the smaller container it looked clear. I hadn't had anything to eat yet when I took the test and hadn't taken my one-a-day vitamin yet, so I'm thinking this would have some effect on the color. It's been 4 days (3 business days) since I took my test and I have yet to hear back from the clinic or the prospective employer..if anyone can answer how long it might take to get results, and if they're required to call me when it's a positive result, please reply! I really need this job, and I'm kicking myself because I should have waited to smoke.
