No.........there are different types of fibers........Supplements like metamucill (I take the pills) Celery (exellent) negative calories....the body burns more calories processing it........than it has in it itself... almost any green watery vegatable.......Salads....Apples (extremely high fiber content) Triscuts (Mmmm) And stay away from any thing that has Hydronated Oils in it.... (fast foods....Wesson oil) these oils congest the liver...slowing it down, and hindering it's ability to rid the body of toxins. Fiber is a huge aid in helping the liver process impurities in the blood.......(such as metabolites) Fiber helps to absorb these toxins and...again...redirects them through the stool rather than the urine.
There are two broad catagories of fiber...soluble....and insoluble
Soluble fiber dissolves in water...it is water soluble...Soluble fiber makes up the mushy interior in fruits, vegatables, grains ...beans..psyllium....
Insoluble fibe soes not dissolve in water... It passes through your digestive system almost unchanged/. It is more of like..the chewy stuff you find in the peels and stalk of vegetables and fruits and outer layers of seed and grains..
Both are very beneficial in speeding up bowel transit time...thus speeding up the time in which toxins are removed from your blood.....that is where your fat cells are releasing the metabolites that we are all trying to rid ourselves of.
It is healthy in may different ways than just cleaning those pesky thc metabolites from our system....but, it's also an added benefit.
Whew!!!!!!!! OK.......my fingers are tired....and my brain hurts... (it's a little pain.........cause i got a little brain)
Hope that helps in answering your question.
Fiber 101 will comence after evening bong session!!
