I am hoping someone can give me advice before I go crazy. Here's my story. I am not a big pot smoker but while at a party i decided to smoke 2 one hitters which was not very much pot. 3 days later i was offered a great job and started work at a hospital. Since they wanted to get me started right away they said someone would be calling me for the drug screen/physical within a week. 1 week later which was wednesay the 20th of this month they called me down. I figured I would test negative since I took an at home drug test and did indeed show negative. so off i went to take my drug test. Well after taking the test I was still worried I would fail (since I am a total worrier) I went to the store and bought 2 differant drug test to test myself yet 1 more time. I purchased the at home drug test and the first check drug test. Well needless to say the first check drug test was positive and the at home drug test was negative??? Now I am really worried!! I did pee twice before leaving home and drank some water so I could pee when I got there. My test was sent to quest diagnostics and I haven't heard anything yet. does anyone know how long it take for these results to come back??? Or does anyone know what would make one test positive and one test negative? Please help before I lost my mind.

3-7 days i believe, I took a quest test on Wensday and still don't have results. I wouldn't worry about it though you had only 2 hits and plenty of time between the drug test. Could have been positive because THC does stay in your system for around 3-4 weeks but it won't come out in readable levels every single time you piss. Good luck

A small one-time input such as you had generally doesn't show up after 7 - 10 days, depending on your metabolism.
