| Hey, I was offered a great job last week and I start in May. However, I signed the employment contract and in it, it states: "substance abuse testing may be deemed necessary to satisfy employer hiring both in pre-employment as well at any time during employment".... so, after i faxed in my contract, i called up my soon to be boss and asked him 'so, is there anything i need to do before i start.... or is this it'... and he said 'we'll see you in may'..... so, i figured he would have said something about needing to take a piss test if i had to.... do you guys think i'm in the clear? i'm not big on contracts.... is that previous statement in most all employer contracts due to liability? is there anything i can do to find out if i will be piss tested w/o looking super shady while trying to find out? any suggestions? anyone been in this boat? |

| why screw up a good oppurtunity.Once you're in, I'd talk to employees who've been there for a while and see how their system works.good luck |

| would it be too sketchy to 'ask' HR about it? not directly... but, say something like 'at my old job, i had to goto the lab, when do i do that here'...... or is my best bet to abstain from puffin for the first few weeks and then go to town w/ it? |
