I have smoked 5-10g per day for 2 years. I was accepted into a very important externship, and they are going to drug test me in 2 weeks. I don't know if the test is blood or urine or if I will be watched. I am 5'8, 140lbs with average metabolism. Is there anything I can do to pass? Do the total body cleansing products work?

Any helpful input would be greatly appreciated!

When did you stop smoking? I could figure out your THC content, There is no way you could pass by waiting it out, ive tried Niacin and it makes you feel pretty bad but it worked for me... This is the way it works, Unfortunately THC is fat soluble. What this means is that THC is stored in fat cells. Once one's system reaches terminal saturation, it takes roughly 4 to 6 weeks to dry out enough to pass a urine drug test. Fortunately there is a way to calculate how THC is stored in fat tissue. It works like this; each time you get stoned, you saturate your blood with THC. Blood saturation reaches 100% fairly quickly and can't be exceeded. (keep smoking and you are wasting good weed). Assume that all 100% is absorbed by body fat. Body fat dissipates THC at the rate of 10% of total fat saturation per day. This means the day after you still have 90% blood saturation, the day after that you still have 80% blood saturation left etc... Current urine tests can detect 60% blood saturation. So if someone has never smoked weed before smokes one time, it takes 3 to 7 days to dry out. However if you smoke every day your fat saturation level climbs to 1000%. this is maximun because you lose 10% of 1000% every day (100% blood saturation), and can only attain 100% blood saturation every day.

Niacin does nothing to speed up eliminating THC metabolites from your system. It does give you hot flashes.


This concept of "terminal saturation" is a new one on me. I've read most of the marijuana literature and have never seen it. Heavy smokers carrying a lot of fat have tested positive after 90 days.


This is utter nonsense. While there probably is a maximum blood saturation it is totally impossible to reach it by smoking. Since you can smoke more or less and get more or less high, why would you always get 100% saturation? If you smoked until you passed out you would not get 100% saturation. What limits how high you can get is your tolerance to THC. The more you smoke the more THC receptors in your brain shut down. When you stop smoking they gradually open up again.


The half-life of THC metabolites in the human body is between 36 and 48 hours. Two days after smoking you would have half what you did right after smoking. Four days after you'd have one fourth. Two days after that, one eighth. And so on...


Current urine test can detect minute amounts of THC metabolites in urine. Tests have cutoffs to prevent false positives. The typical cutoffs are 50ng/ml for immunoassay tests and 15 ng/ml for GC/MS tests. They are roughly equivalent because the former tests for all cannabinoids and the latter only for THC metabolites.


If takes 7 - 10 days.


You can get a maximum of 100% saturation and there is no way you could approach that by smoking marijuana.

Bovis - you should get your facts straight before giving advice to other people. There are too many well-informed people around here to let you get away with spreading "facts" that you just made up.
