| I am thinking of applying for a railroad job. Does anyone have any info on the pre-screen test? I would like to know if it is hair or urine. Thanks |

| Most if not all RR jobs fall under the DOT testing guidelines. Concidering that, it will be a urine test that is not observed. I suggest you plan to substitute and if you continue to use, expect to always carry a clean sample with you for randoms and never fear a urine test again. Hope that helps. N2

| Yes, thanks for the help. I'm thinking this is great news as i was ready to retire the bong for a good job. This is my 5th day clean. I was a heavy smoker, about an oz and a half of good kb a month, fast metabo, 5'11 175-185. So I think by the time they give me the ua I will probably be clean naturally but I will use one of these diluting methods mentioned in the stickys just to be safe. I have used the diluting methods before and feel really confident in them. Shaved my head last night as a precaution but I feel very relieved to know that this will most likely be just a ua. Thanks again and happy toking! |

| chief it depends on which railroad you apply for, BNSF is currently the only class A railroad that i know of using the hair test. all others use urine. i know people that used shampoo and are working, and i know others that wish they would have stopped 90 days earlier. good luck, rr worker |
