I just found out at work today(I started at this new internship yesterday) that I will need to be drug screened. This came as a shock, because I worked at the same company last year and didn't have to. So, not knowing this, i smoked on friday! 2-3 bowls between 2-3 people.

I am 19, 163 lbs, 5'4" and have a moderate metabolism.

My test is going to be anywhere from 2-7 days away I believe.

I am a very casual smoker, but smoked friday, and then 2 weeks before than and a week before that.

How at risk am I? I plan to get a home test kit, and probably do the dilution method, but is there any chance at all I will be able to pass??

I'm sorry to say but your more than likely gonna fail. It hasen't even been a week. You better pray that your screening is in a week, because your really gonna need the time. Exercise like mad, drink tons of water, and try the asperin thing (not too sure how that works. Do a thread serch on it. "Asperin urine test" try that. o.o ) But yeah. two-three bowls between 3 people is still a pretty big amount of thc in your system. Good luck to yeh!

Also, does lying to push back a test ever work? Can i tell them I was in amsterdam recently(which is true) and used legally, or that my college roomate was a very heavy pot smoker, and the room was always filled with smoke all day?

I'm almost positive they are used to any 'exuses' that could be thrown at them. Unless you can show them a passport and prove that you went to amsterdam, they'll probably think your lying. How long ago did you go? If it was any longer than a month and a half ago, they'd probably tell you that the thc in your system from that long ago would have already left your body.
As for the heavy smoking roomate, that one my brother used and it doesn't work. =/ AT least not where we live. Ummm...
You could fake being sick. I scratch my cheeks to make my face look flushed... You can try eating spicey stuff to make you throat red.. -doesn't really know- If you do try that one, make sure you phone in a couple days before your schedueled drug test, that way it doesn't loo suspiciouse. Say "I went in for a mono test and it came back positive. I can't come to the schedueled time..." Or something like that. I'm not sure if it will work, but eh, you never know if they'll fall for it right? It might give you an extra couploe of days.

do you think telling the HR person about the roomate thing would be any better? I worked there last year, I am hoping they sorta trust me, and I already started working this summer there.

but dont they also have ways to say that you have to be locked up in a room for like 2 days before 2nd hand is detectable? read about it....im pretty sure thats it. something like it has to be inhaled directly into the lungs before its good to go or something.

If i do say it, I plan to play it off like the place was always filled with smoke, and am also hoping that the HR person, not a lab tech, will not know that
