i've got a pre-employment test i have to take tomorrow at the local hospital (for a company that's not located in the area). i've been doing some research for the last week, and it's too late to sub (well, i'm not confident enough to pull it off or even know anyone good enough to ask for there piss). now i'm in the pre-test sweat stage, as everyone does. i could really use some support.

here's my deal:
24, 5ft 10in, 155 lbs., great metabolism, clean for 13 days
(i only have 1 kidney- not sure if that matters or not)

i was taking 5-10 bowl hits a day for the 3 three weeks prior to stopping and wasn't really smoking for awhile before that. i've been drinking at least a 1/2 gallon of water a day for the last week or so, and i bought a Qcarbo drink that i plan on taking tomorrow morning before the test. what you think my chances are?

should i use dilution too?
what's the best home test i can pick up at CVS and maybe get some piece of mind?

My advice is to substitute you're specimen with synthetic urine. However, some states like mine just this past november prohibite the suppliers to sell to this state. No big deal because I have them send it to a friend that does not live in this police state. Then they send it to me personally. I have passed over twenty tests this way, it works.

Best to check yourself, I think CVS has the "home drug test" brand in the green box, or they might have "first check". Either way, best to check your first mornings pee and if thats neg, you should be good. Since your test is tomorrow, try one tonight maybe, and then one in the morning for piece of mind. I have used both! I passed after 20 days clean similar situation, but I am a bit smaller than you (5'6" 120lbs).

First things first, check yourself, and then you decide whether or not to dilute. I tested neg and diluted anyway, just to be safe. Just read over the procedure tonight and get what you need at the drug store when you get your tests (aspirin, tums etc.) Peed 5 times before I went in then gave 'em a midstream sample. I was A-OK.

If your testing positive, can you put it off a few days, and try to get some urine from the net? I think you will be fine though, but everyone is different, and you won't know for sure until you take a home test.

About your kidney, I THINK you filter stuff at the same rate, your body adjusts, that's why its OK for ppl to have just 1 kidney~

in theory i don't have to take the test tomorrow. i scheduled it myself the other day. it's a pre-employment screening, so it has to be done before i start though. i could 'forget' tomorrow. however, i wouldn't be free to take it for 2 more weeks, and i don't want to look fishy or mess up my start date.

if there's a good chance i will fail it, i will try to put it off. ...that's why i wanted to know what you all thought. if i waited, i wouldn't need to sub anyways after being clean for over 4 weeks.

do they use GS/MS for pre-employment?

I think the standard is a 50/15 which means that they screen it at 50ng, which is what the home tests screen for - its a multi-metabolite screen. If you fail that, then they do the GC/MS at 15ng - that is just for the main metabolite. Essentially the same concentrations, but the GC/MS just tests 1 particular thing, to rule out any false positives... The GC/MS is pricey, so they don't just run out and do that one. Most places use the screen, from what I have read.

If you pass the home test, you should pass the real deal... Check tonight and tomorrow AM first mornings pee pee, if that is neg, than go for it, but make sure you drink some fluids at the very least, and give 'em a midstream pee!

If you do happen to test positive tomorrow (home test in the morning), better to postpone and look suspicious than try to front and test positive on the real deal!

Just my opinion tho!
